Connect mobile phone to speakers

Hi all,

I have a Fiat 500 Lounge manufactured in late 2007.
I have connected my Smart phone to my car via the Blue and me system.
There is a radio that I often listen via streaming on my mobile phone. I was wondering, is it possible to listen to it through my car's radio speakers?
I checked here and there, but I cannot do it.
Thank you for your help.

Sadly no, Blue&Me was designed in the bad old days before bluetooth media streaming was a thing. Assuming you don't have an AUX port, your best option would be to have an aftermarket unit installed.
Thanks monicaireland thanked for this post

Thank you Eklipze.
I had some doubts that it would work out, it was worth it to double check though.
I'll wait until my next car... hopefully as late as possible

Wrong!

It can be done! :-)

Just buy this device:

"JUSTOP Bluetooth Stereo Audio Receiver, Universal Music Adapter For Speakers/Car stereo/Music Sound System (BTR003)"

You can find it on Amazon.uk

The forum don't allow me to post the link, unfortunately.

Works perfectly on my 500...

But, you must have a an aux/usb-port. If not, impossible...

Re: Connect mobile phone to speakers

Doesn't allow control through the steering wheel, might as well just connect via AUX cable

Wonít work if you donít already have an AUX socket in the car, and if the OP did then they could easily answer their own question. Yes it will allow you to Bluetooth stream music, but you could just as easily wear a pair of headphones/Bluetooth headphones, than buy extra kit like this

Do you know where the aux socket is to connect the aux cable too?

If you have one, it'll be with the USB port by the handbrake/cupholders

If you press CD twice does AUX come up on the display?
If yes the socket is on the rear of the radio, a little tricky to connect.
What year is the car?

If I press cd twice it says aux on the stereo. The garage I got it from said it was aux compatible and they said for me to look in the manual. Can not find it there, and the garage is a distance for me to get too! My car is a 2008 plate.

You can buy an adapter that plugs into the rear of the stereo which you can then feed through somewhere convenient.

£4.80 on eBay.

"They could" but it's actually really simple, even a novice could do it, you could ask them for a price £20 would be a good price
You tube Fiat 500 radio removal to see how easy it is, you can almost drop the wire down the rear of the dash to the floor(provided you got one long enough) they vary in lengthy 95cm to 150cm
Thanks Chloe0808 thanked for this post
