we have just bought a Fiat TwinAir. to get it registered here in South Australia the authorities need to sight the engine number.
Does any one know exactly where it is stamped on the block?

On my JTD it's moulded into the front of the crankcase, under the exhuast header outlets.

There are random numbers and letters all over it.. so best advice is to find the engine number on your car's paperwork before you crawl underneath it with a torch, so that at least you know what number you're actually looking for.
