Technical fitting centre arm rest to 500s

hi guys,

has anyone fitted a centre arm rest to a 500, Fiat don't offer one as far as I can find out.
I've just traded my Grande for the 500, I was sad to see my Grande go but I love my 500, I do miss my arm rest from the Grande though!
has anyone tried to fit one from a Grande or any other car?

Yes I fitted one made by Armster, works well and easy to fit plus gives you some out of sight storage, makes access to handbrake and seatbelts a little awkward but you soon get used to it and it can be folded out of the way if you want. Google Armster and you should be able to order online.

I do miss an armrest. Unfortunately they are out of stock.

Hi, anyone know if armrests listed as being compatible with 500 2008 onwards will fit a 500S?

I was looking online and it said would not fit Arbarth or 500s, I emailed to ask one seller why and they said it was the fact there isn't enough space with sports seats. Thought this was strange as no other listings says that and I've had the pleasure of owning a 58reg 500 sport, 13reg 500c, 63 reg 500s and now a 15 reg 500s and I can't say I thought any of the seats seem different in size. I did fit a armrest to the 500C but not the others and I want to order one for my latest 500S.

I have the Armster one in my S without any issues, perhaps in an Abarth with sabelts it could be a problem but even then I doubt it

I had a different one in my previous FIAT 500, but it was a little loose and floppy-
I've got THIS one now, from eBay. The actual armrest is much better quality than the previous one and has a ratchet type hinge that means you press a button in to move it up or down.
Annoyingly I didn't look at it in the car before I had it fitted. Both rear cup holders are covered and the box base is frankly ugly, and badly thought out. It's too big and 'boxy'! In addition because of where it is (above the rear cup holders) the armrest is, in my humble opinion- a little to far towards the rear if you sit forward like what I do having stumpy legs a la Ernie Wise!
