I'm wondering if anyone has added a fancy exhaust tip to their tailpipe. Seen some nice looking chrome type ones online but not the oval shape of a 2012 TwinAir.

Also, are they easy to fit? Is it just a case of clipping it together over the end?

Personally I haven't replaced my exhaust tip on my fiat, but from past experience your really shouldn't have any trouble fitting new tips, typically they look like this:

and just require a nut and bolt to tighten the tip to the end of the exhaust (as long as it is for the correct diameter pipe!), however, you never know with fiat! So you might want to hold on until someone can tell you for sure!

Good luck :p

The stock tip is spot welded on FWIW.

I wouldn't waste your money on a cheap chromed mild steel one though, it won't last a British winter, spend a few quid more on a polished or brushed stainless steel one, they last for years. The one I had on my old Mazda 3 2.0 tdi always came up like new after a good clean, even after a winter of little cleaning and much salt from the roads! :)

Sounds good to me griff... Just need to find one to fit the oval shape of a 2012 TwinAir ?

I've never looked at a Twinairs tail pipe so don't know if it is a normal round pipe coming out of the backbox which then goes into the oval pipe (that would be great if it did as you could cut it off and attach pretty much any new trim!) or if it is oval out of the backbox, that would make it tricky, maybe a whole new backbox would be needed!
