NEW 2014 FIAT 500 “1957 EDITION” HIGHLIGHTS 57 YEARS OF THE LEGENDARY ICON

Limited-production "1957 Edition" builds on the Fiat 500's storied past with unique exterior and interior design elements
Novel exterior appearance, three classic exterior colors, 1957-era wheel design, Bianco-painted roof and vintage "FIAT" emblems pay homage to the historic Fiat "Nuova" 500
Premium Marrone leather interior accented with Avorio highlights the Cinquecento's more than half-century of contemporary yet elegant Italian style
Sport-tuned suspension and 1.4-liter MultiAir engine provide the engaging driving dynamics the FIAT brand is known for, along with up to 40 miles per gallon
New 2014 Fiat 500 1957 Edition arrives in the Spring for North American FIAT brand enthusiasts

The interior looks good too, I like the door panel accents and dual colour leather steering wheel as it works well.

Is the 'ESC off' round button on lower left and the round window buttons new or are they on all new 500's? The window buttons look more in keeping round with chrome bezels. Always thought that the current buttons look like a parts bin afterthought compared to rest of the interior.

Cheers

US market only - along with the closing glovebox and lots of other detail changes.

i cant see whats special other than the horrendous wheels

just a 500 in a retro colour and vintage leather/white ambiance

would have been better use a twinair 500C with black roof and make the dash body coloured

in fact you could go even further and fit crappy vinyls seats and plastric steering wheel

fail

Yeah, the window switches are straight out of the previous Panda (2003-2012) version. Not sure of the logistics here, but any future revised European 500 could do a lot worse than pop those switches in instead IMO.

No they're not from the older Panda.

Really like it!

You wouldn't think the 500 could be made to look any more retro but they have managed it.

Love the wheel trims and the interior, a shame if it really is only for the US market....

Predicyably, it's a bit marmite this one................

Indeed - can you believe it also, some people don't like the look of the 500L :)

I just think they have captured the 'late 50's era' perfectly with the colour combination, the lack of alloys and that cracking interior.

Very nice.

If they're really wheel trims, does that mean it has 16" steelies? I rather want a set for aero purposes. With the body coloured part painted either black or red.

No they are alloys with big center caps

No idea to be honest - it would be interesting if they were actually alloys but if I was FIAT I would be doing them in steel if not just for 'authenticity...'

ed. I see the answer is actually above.
