So I have ordered a new Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge in Footloose Blue, with the 2 tone alloys.

Ordered on 10th August told deliver end of September.

My experience so far:

I was originally looking to buy a used Fiat 500 for my wife and saw an advert in my local paper for one at a pretty decent price.
I visited the local Fiat dealership and was given the sales patter about how I would be better off brand new.

I was offered a PCP deal on a 1.2 Lounge which included at £750 fiat deposit contribution. I decided to have a little think about it. As I was walking out I remembered an email I had seen at work that may have entitled me to extra discount. I went back in and told the salesman and he confirmed that My company was part of the Fiat affinity scheme and that I could get a further £1000 fiat deposit contribution (So £1750 in total).

I was happy with this and purchased that car the next day.

I have had in total 3 emails and a phone call from the dealership with regular updates on my order although delivery time has been put back to mid october.

Really looking forward to taking delivery now.

Sounds pretty good so far, although the salesman was very optimistic (being charitable) to suggest delivery by the end of September on a new build, as the factory is closed in August. In fact, I would think that mid October may even slip a bit.

Thanks - Ordered from Glyn Hopkins, St Albans.

I do hope they dont put the date back any further though.
