Just ordered a brand new Fiat 500c for the wife. We went to the dealer last weekend for a test ride in the Lounge, the one with the sliding panoramic roof; after our drive, we thought to give the 'c' a go as well and that's when the wife really showed who wore the pants in the house.
It was 33 degrees Celsius; the heat was totally unbearable...we were sweating like anything and to top it off, the dealer had the car (with the roof open) baking in the sun, which wouldn't have been that bad had the sport seats in the car not been leather. Ouch!
Anyway, to cut a long story short, we ordered one there and then but since we really needed the car fairly quickly (for the wife), we had to order the Rock version only. I would've preferred a specced-up Lounge because of the Ivory ambience but the wife "wanted one NOW", so I had no more say in it. Oh, and also, it's the 1.2 dualogic we ordered...very VERY helpful for driving in and around Amsterdam.

16 inch wheels (can't recall the model),

I wanted an Ivory ambience with Tan leather seats...but the delivery for that in a Lounge would've taken over 2 months. This one here, the Rock, will take about 2 weeks to arrive...so it's not that bad
I asked the dealer if it would be possible to get the 15 inch wheels instead of the 16s, cos frankly, I'm really sick of the road noise here; he said he would but only if he has a spare model and if some other customer wants to swap theirs for mine...but I doubt it. Not too big a bother though.
Now we can't wait to pick the car from the dealer and enjoy the few days of sun we've got left, with the top down!
