I wouldn't pay the extra for it, love the original none cabriolet 500 (hence the recent order!) but I'd buy a convertible elsewhere (ie Copen! yes I am obsessed lol) :)

How much extra is the 500 soft top?

Is the estate going into production? Now thats a 500 that would tick all the boxes for me! :)

The 500c starts at £11300... I think that it is called a pop but its better specified than the 500 Pop if I recall from the configurator. Though I specced one up to what I would want the other day and it came out at over £13k!

Not heard about the estate, but some pictures going around, hopefully they will produce it as it looks as if it will be a lot nicer than the Mini Clubman!

Also there's the 4x4 version based on the Panda 4x4 that's been touted on the web too.

I dont think they are worth the money - the roof colour will soon start to fade thus making it look worse than it does now (n)

Spend the money and get an Abarth 500 instead (y)

Agreed, price wise the Abarth 500 makes the 500C seems very expensive, but it isn't always about just pure cost.

I love the look of the A500 but I couldn't stand the sports suspension, the gloomy dark interior (just my personal opinion) and the 'come on then(!)' looks. I find drivers where I live aggressive enough without being obvious.

I'll hold judgement on the C until I see it in the flesh, but to be honest the 500 hatch Lounge that I'd order next time would probably total near £12000, so an extra £700 for the C seems a reasonable price to pay. Plus, most of the extras I'd want on the hatch are standard on the C.

I agree. A real delight. The ivory roof will just fade lighter, and the whole thing looks really well engineered.

I reckon the c will really take off when it arrives.

I completely agree. Although I said nasty things about the 500c when the spy shots were out I really like it :) I'm going to try and suggest to the wife that she get in a couple of years time :p

Mmmmmm (y) With a twin cylinder 105 bhp engine giving quick-witted and light handling, and fantastic economy: in Goth Metal blue, with red or tan  leather seats and probably the xenon lights. And one or two other little extras...

...yes, it should be easy enough to convince her.

I WANT ONE (y)

You've really got the 500 spirit now! Excellent! :D

With the above spec, I think I might be going for it myself a few years down the line! Have to say I wasn't convinced at first but it had definitely grown on me, I'm looking forward to seeing one in the flesh. Did fancy one in yellow with a black roof tho...

My wife isn't really all that impressed by added extras. If it were up to her we'd have got a pop.

Personally for me if I was to have one it'd be a lounge in either BNW or Raggamuffin Red with either the standard 15" wheels, the new 16's or the 16" multispokes we're going to have on our lounge. Don't need any extras :)

Yellow, lounge, black roof, black leather seats, those new criss crossy multispoke 16" alloys, thats it. When can I pick it up? :D

I was agonising over the chrome door mirrors. With the dark blue you see; and the ivory roof, and the red leather/tan seats..and the interscope - or is that standard, I can't remember?

Can't wait for this...

You have a choice of roof colours....white wont fade;)

IMO its a good looking car with a good setup, the roof is well thought out & works great.

true white won't fade - it will just look dirty and then turn a grey colour :D
