I guessed it was just a matter of time....

In Shortland, near Bromley, an estate agent forecourt is full of white 500's with their logos, tel number etc all over... just like minis and beetles in london....

I'll try to take pics next time I drive by.

Hose Rhodes Dickson, an estate agent on the Isle of Wight, has recently taken delivery of 11 identical Fiat 500's, all in Bossa Nova white and the Italian roof stripe, to match the companys white, red and green colours.

I took this picture of the front page of the IOW County Press, but the story doesnt seem to be on their website for me to provide a link. I can try and get it scanned if anyone is interested and if my friend still has the paper. Apologies for the picture quality.

Kinda worries me that there are going to be sooooo many Bossa Nova White 500's around though.

Imagine the saving over multiple purchases of the mini though.

There is a solicitor based in Edinburgh done the same thing, 8 identical white 500's.

(Here in Dundee they are feeling the credit crunch, I hear a local solicitor ordered 10 old Fiat pandas for £200 each. There are only two people work there but at least they will always have a working car )

I've never been taken on a viewing in an estate agents car - always met them at the properties ...... didn't know they chauffered people round, that would have been much easier!

But more painful

No such thing as a free lunch - Lots of estate agents drive you around to viewings in London, but the properties they market are more expensive. About the cost of the car. That's how I got into a mini once, and hated all its silly switches and fake chrome with a passion... The 500 is classier by a long way!
