I have had an intermittent strong smell of petrol since last weekend from Luigi. The smell is intermittent. I have had the bonnet up, no signs of anything, engine off, engine running. I was on my knees last night looking underneath and could find no signs of a leak.

Problem solved today. I went to fill up this morning, opened the flap and the cap fell out. It would appear that the wife filled up last Friday and managed to extract the key without the cap being screwed in.

Bless, as some of you may recall, this is the same wife who managed to illustrate how easy it is to take the door mirror caps off .... with a taxi.

I am thinking of banning her from Luigi !!

In a blokey, understanding type of way that I am sure all you ladies are familiar with, I explained the issue to her tonight. She took it quite well.

Doctor reckons my bruises should go down in no time.....

not yet fella dont want to spoil all the fun at once

The fuel fill cap lock is not the easiest thing to get to work, unlocking us easy but I strougle to lock it first go. Madening tbh
