We've finally bit the bullet and ordered a 500.

Lounge 1.2
YeYe Green
Tan leather seats
Ivory ambience.

May get some stripes made in an off white later, or even go for the chrome bonnet stripe.

We almost had one a few weeks back, the dealer had a black with ivory ambience, so we put a deposit down. My wife then came across the ye ye green pics on the forum and was hooked.

We quite like the more retro colours, Jive and ye ye, but hadn't got a clear impression of what they could look like. Certainly hadn't seen any on the road, until the day we went to order and a ye ye green passed us going the other way!

Delivery is some time late September I hope.

I'll be using it as a commuter car between Gt Dunmow and Cambridge, mainly motor way driving.

Hope it does as good an MPG as my Punto mark1, 50mpg!

Its quite stressful spending £10k on a car.

You should get the 50mpg from the 1.2 when its all run in, really nice spec youre getting and you will love the tan leather Look forward to seeing pics of this one.

Another owner soon then! Well done - I was going go with the YeYeGreen but my hubbie 'persuaded' me to have the Funk White.

I was told it would be anything from 10-14 weeks by my salesman.

Seriously, I bought a packet of wet wipes to keep in the car to clean hands - and I have a black steering wheel. Well, you want to keep a new car new don't you!

Nice choice of 500 by the way. I LOVE the YE YE .. and with the tan leather and ivory it will look VERY classy. Lucky you!

I'm going to keep a packet of my kids wetwipes in the car too . If I get any mess on my ivory ambience I'll go mad. I've already told my 2.5 year old that he isn't allowed to kick the seats - don't think he understood me though.

Now this is one 500 I am looking forward to seeing pictures of! ye ye with white ambiance and tan seats - fantastic combination!

When you get your car, you may not want to let him in it at all?! It'll be shoes off, no sweets, let me check your hands!

Well, I think you should be okay with the leather anyway - it is more hardwearing and cleanable than fabric seats.

Maybe I'll just position it seductivley on the drive and look through the windows now and again, and use the old Zafira to drive to work in.
