I'm not convinced about the front, but it's good to see 'real life' photos. Can't wait to see one of these in the metal come the London Motor Show

Think we should just celebrate the fact that Fiat are back making focussed hot hatches again.

I'm not entirely sure about the treatment of the front of the car but I'm guessing that this may be tweaked before the car is properly launched or there may be alternative add ons available. Just look at the Punto Abarth when it was first revealed with that ourageous front spoiler, the production version looks much better resolved.

It's amazing how some people are seduced by a bit of bling.

Great find Littala. The uper grill area looks awful and those red door mirrors with the white bodywork are a definate no no.

Overall not too bad asthetically but not as clean or attractive as the original concept in my opinion.

Negatory...the 'ordinary' 500 will never look ordinary even if millions buy em in the UK....

Even though the Abarth is coming AND looks (kinda?)good I would still feel ashamed driving one around...needless waste of fuel and why when you can get a cute 500 that does 70 mpg?!!!!

Horrible! And did you see the way that nasty guy in the video just callously flicked his hand at those girls to get them to take the cover off the car and when they couldn't quite believe it he went round the back and told em!

obviously, those that have already rushed out and purchased/ordered the regular 500's are going to be screaming how happy they are. always the way. early adopters beware.

if people want to show pick then its nicer to upload them as pics.

and as this is a very busy site it wold take forever to pm people every time a post is moved, edited or deleted. if people really need to know why then there is a list of site staff to pm and ask

Not at all. I'm not jealous or pis$ed that I bought a standard 500 over the Abarth. And I'm certainly not regretting it after seeing the Abarth pics. I was never in the market for a performance hatch, hence going for the 1.2 500. I genuinely don't like the look of the front. It looks like it's eaten something it's allergic to and it's lips have all swollen up!

Same with me, didnt much like the original Abarth 500s either. Of course we all knew one would come out, I chose the pureness and cheapness of the original, if you can call 11k + cheap

gib1970 I can't believe you are saying that I really think that abarth is hideous no doubt about it, the standard 500 is pure and so stylish the abarth is a monstrosity and it belongs in a chavs driveway it really does, I bet you are scratching your tattoos whilst putting your baseball cap on and reaching for your chewing gum as you read this! souped up versions have no class and the only private plate that would suit it is YOB 1
