General 1.2 Pop Available Now

I've only seen a few Pops, and none of them were available to test-drive. :(

I'm hoping that a dealer somewhere will soon get a 1.2 Pop on its standard 14 inch steel wheels and put it on the road as a demo car :)

:) It could be a real giggle to drive. :)

Well if you are in the Bristol area any time you are more than welcome to come out in mine.

...you are more than welcome to come out in mine.

Thanks. If Scrogg is getting Pops soon, no doubt dealers nearer to me will eventually. I've tried a 500 on 16inch and 15inch wheels and whilst the engines felt fine the ride quality felt a bit poor to my old bones compared to ka/corsa/C2 (on the 15s almost as jumpy, lumpy and bumpy as on 16s).

It's been suggested to me that a 1.2 on its standard 14 inch wheels would probably be 'more similar' to what I am used to.

I remember both Mini and Smart dealers doing 'open-test-drive days' in the past with a range of vehicles for customers to try out back-to-back. Hopefully that will happen at a Fiat dealership with the 500 before too much longer.:yum:Some dealers used to do 24 hour test drives too as I recall.:yum::yum::yum:

First dealer to put a 500 on the road as a hire-car ought to do well.
It's going to be THE car to be seen in this summer(y)

I just found a 1.2 POP in yellow at a dealer near me.
I agree the plastic wheel is a bit 'plasticky' also I notice the
driver's seat NOT height adjustable :( which is important to us as I'm tall and 'she' is short. :(
I was sure there was height adjustment on the drivers seat on all UK 500s.

Dont Stoneacre Fiat cars come with a bit missing as standard ;)
Have heard of odd 500 Sports coming without the ickle roof tip spoiler and dealer fit bits coming with bits missing.
Quality control probs maybe?

There should be, my Pop has it.

Stoneacre Scunthorpe have a yellow 1.2 Pop and no height adjustable driver's seat - and it's not because the height-adjusting handle had fallen off,:)p) It obviously come out of the factory with just a fixed seat.Very strange.

H/A drivers seat is listed in the UK brochure and on the UK dealers' spreadsheet as a standard item across the 500 range. This 500 at Scunthorpe hasn't got it. :D
