I changed the bushing on my wifes 2013 Fiat 500 Sport (manual). I had to disconnect the reverse arm from the shaft on top of the trans to get at the other bushing. When I attempt to reconnect the arm it's slightly out of line and if I force it over so the square hole on the shift lever lines up with the squared bottom part of the threaded shaft (note this shaft drops down into the trans and comes up in diff positions), the gear shift lever in the car stays hard over right and will not move to the left half of the shifter boot??? :bang:

Hi :)

Not too many technical posts regarding the NA spec manual boxes..

The motor is the 1.4 multiair..
The UK get the older 1.2 FIRE motor generally.. so gearboxes may be different

Are you discussing the bushing on the shifter cables...

Or on the selector mechanism.. on top of gearbox?
