I installed rear splash guards on my 500C Lounge today. Very straight forward installation but a couple of notes:

1. Take the rear wheels off - it would be very difficult to drill the needed holes without doing this.
2. Drill pilot holes smaller than the 6.5mm needed to install the body clamps and make sure you go slow and steady to avoid drilling past what is needed.
3. The last hole is under the fender and when you put the guard in place it will look like the body clamp will not go into the pre-drilled hole in the guard. Just give a firm push and it will go into place.
4. Follow the directions, take your time and you should have no problems.

Hope this helps if you decide to install the guards yourself. One more thing, I called the dealer to make sure of my wheel bolt torque (75 lbs) as I could not find the specification anywhere in the owners manual. I must also note I had the dealer install black OZ Adrenalina wheels so I don't know if the torque is the same for the stock wheels.

Most of the European guys that have installed mudflaps seem to put them on the front.
Those OZs sound nice. I take it that there're 16s and are lighter than standard wheels. Any pictures you can post ?
By the way - congrats on the new car. (y)

Thanks for the congrats and I LOVE my new Fiat and the attention it gets!:D

Interesting idea about using the guards on the front - looks like the two holes would line right up with the bolts but the underneath hole would have nowhere to mount - hmmm gonna have to investigate that some more...

I will put up some pics soon and yes they are 16s - looked great on the blue car in the dealer showroom and now look great on my white with burgundy top C.

That's a nice combination with the white and the red roof - like the one in the ads. Quite a few 'performance' guys are now going for the OZs because of their lightness particularily in the 17s on the Abarths where the weight in the standard wheels seems to increase a lot in that size.
Re the mudflags at the front - from a thread on the European side this was the 'one' that seemed to be most in demand. The back bumper doesn't seem to get 'affected' as much.
Most of the newbies on the FF are putting up pictures of their car on both a thread and also on the Gallery. If you need any assistance don't hesitate to ask.
