Does anyone have any of the following:
starter lever set,
handbrake lever,
Accelerator pedal.


I'm working on some of the little jobs to tidy up my car and bring some of it back to its original look.


All of these parts are rusty on my car, and the rubber grips for the starter lever have long since vanished. I would like to strip, zinc plate and paint these parts, but I'm reluctant to take them off the car because I'm using it almost daily. (As I type it I realise this is a first world problem!)


Also, does anyone have any photos of the accelerator cable hand lever below the glove box? I know this part must be very simple so I can probably make it, but I don't remember what it looks like

I may have a 126 starter lever/choke lever that will need refurbishing.
they have longer plastic levers than the 500 but essentially the same.
I might have a 126 handbrake which again has a rubber cover for the grip where as the 500 doesn't but I think that can come off.
Throttle pedal. LHD or RHD? LHD just buy a new one as they are cheap.
RHD forget it, you have more chance of finding a brand new Fiat500 Jolly that has never been used on the road.

am I right in thinking that the metal arms of the 126 starter levers are the same as the 500, just the plastic ends are different? In which case I can make a new set of plastic ends to suit.


Did the 500 handbrake have a cover? Mine is currently bare metal.



I must sound like an idiot. I've had the car since 85' but I'm not sure all the parts were right to begin with.



It's never really bothered me as long as the car drove ok the rest seemed less important. I must be getting fussy in my old age.

Well............ it really is amazing what I find in my lockups...
(I know there is a Jolly with delivery mileage in Italy in a private collection...)



RHD throttle pedal... not too hard to make if you buy a LHD one....

I have an original 500 starter leaver set, missing the original end caps if you are interested.

Does anyone have any dimensions for the starter lever end caps? I will print a set so they look a bit better than plain metal.
