I am having some coil over springs made for the car. These will be height adjustable but I need some measurements for the builders ( these should come out at around £80 each, so if interested let me know).

I need to know the average length at full compression and full height. Can anyone help?

Measure the coil overs? Unless someone knows or has the dampers you have, I don't see any other way of doing it.

Sorry what I meant was shocks with coilover similar to these ones.


A single unit should come around £100 in the UK They are nearly twice that abroad.

Tricky -- to some extent it'll be a matter of personal preference, and be influenced by tyre size, what use the car is put to, and so on.

Your very best bet might be to contact some of the Abarth owners abroad and see what they suggest/recommend.

Can anyone help? I need the full measurement of the Koni lowered shocks. i.e. full extension and compression front and rear with body dimensions too.

I'm still not sure what you're doing. I'm guessing you're converting Konis to coil overs?

But if you need the dimensions of Koni units, why not approach Koni? They're not going to bite your head off..........

I will be seeing Matt Gibson over the Christmas/new year holiday to collect my suspension parts--I will measure the fully extended/fully compressed lenghths and let you know--I am very interested as to eventual costs of what i assume will end up as a 'wishbone' front suspension set-up.
