I'm in the midst of putting together a 1974ish 1800 engine. The motor had skipped some timing and blew up pretty bad, to the point where we needed a replacement piston. We were able to get one from a local FIAT guru, the last one he had.
Unfortunately, while the rest of the pistons are a standard 84mm, the one we got is about 84.15. Oversized, as it were. So now we're in search of a standard size 1800 piston.
Are there any reliable sources for engine parts out there? A quick search of Google shows few, and those that are out there seem a little disjointed.
Used would probably be ok so long as it's in pretty decent shape.
