Hi everyone, I’ve just replaced the ac compressor on my 16v sporting GP (199a6000 engine) and one of the bolts snapped during removal. I ordered new bolts (x3) and they’re too short. It currently secured with only two bolts.
The snapped bolt had a shank length of 115 - 120mm (estimating on what was left in the mounting bracket) Just not sure what the thread is? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi its a 13mm AF bolt that is approx 115mm length - it looks the same thread as many other bolts on the engine eg crankshaft pulley. Just don't want to have to go to fiat and pay their prices.

Thanks

Hi :)
Normally equates to a standard M8
Thats 8.0 diameter and 1.25 mm pitch
Known as metric COARSE

So in a 12.5mm section you will have 10 threads :)

Measure against the thread.. see the distance 10 threads covers ;)

IF its nearer 10mm then likely to be Metric FINE 8.0 X 1.0 Pitch
