Undergraduate student from Bournemouth. Had the sudden urge to create a site like bitly/tinyurl/googl. So made one. Basic features at current. A few validation issues I need to rectify. But other than that working like a charm.

Future Plans
- User accounts, with link tracking.
- Custom PPC Advertising

Without wanting to sound like a total tool, what's the point? I can see the point of shorting URL's, especially with smartphones, etc, but why create something that already exists. What does Ziz.im offer that the others don't?

What I think Fraz means is, what does zim offer that bit.ly and others don't? Breaking into an established market means having a point of difference, so that users have a reason to use your product over established ones.
