Technical Loose filler cap/radiator

Hi Everyone, finally the sun has come out and I took the panda for a run, it didn't get up to temperature for ages and dropped again so I guess the thermostat has gone ? Also when I checked the coolant level, the whole radiator/expansion tank was loose, is that normal ! ?? Thanks
