Hello, the weather forecast is around 35 degrees.
My car's air conditioner blows air around 18 degrees at idle. When I travel at a speed of 70-80 km, the lowest temperature I see is 12 degrees.

I removed the front bumper to organize the headlight installation. In the meantime, I'm thinking of cleaning the evaporator with chemicals. If there are testers, can they share their temperature values?

Since the engine of the car is not very powerful, I do not have high expectations.

Standard car air condition such as is fitted to a Panda. in a healthy system you would normally expect to see a 15'C drop from outside temperature to interior temperature. so if its 35'C outside then you'd expect 20'C at the vents in the car so 18 is actually very good.

Cleaning the Condensor is fine but I would not recommend using any harsh chemicals, it is made up of very thin aluminum strips which easily corrode and break off and using any chemicals that degrades the aluminum in anyway is only going to cause these fins to break off sooner.

The main problems with fiats is not the efficiency of the air conditioning but the complete lack of insulation in the cars, you will find even blowing cold air out of the vents especially in 35'C heat the car still seems very warm. And that is because there is limited insultation to protect you from the heat of the outside getting in.

Two things that will massively help keep the interior cooler is to install sound proofing material in the doors floors and roof of the car, this will act as an insulation to keep the cool air in and the heat out. Also installing tinted windows will have a massive impact on the heat that comes in through the windows from sunlight. You don't need to go dark tints you just need something that filters out the UV and IR light that causes the heat, as much as possible. You'll then find the air con is much better at keeping the car cooler. Its not about reducing the air con temperature, you need to keep the cool air in the car and the heat out.

Bigger cars don't have a magically more efficient air con system, most of the time they just have much better insulation.

Ohh, thank you. Today I cleaned the evaporator with air conditioner cleaning fluid.

Since winter is coming, we will wait for next summer :)

But I realized that its overall performance was like this and that it was actually an isolation problem.

Both are condensers. I also cleaned the radiator. Chemically and mechanically.

My systems were really quite dirty. Meanwhile, I noticed that the foot of the air conditioner radiator was broken and the screws were faulty.

And quite a few parts of my radiator fan are welded plastic.

I will try to repair the radiator fan more firmly. I will replace it if necessary.
