General Engine Code?

How do you find the engine code for a 2013 Fiat 500 Sport (USA)
I wanted to get timing tool to use when I change the timing belt and I need engine code to make sure its the right tool

I was looking for the cheapest timing belt tool (locks the timing in place when doing the timing belt and water pump) on Amazon
And it calls for an engine code to make sure it fits a 2013 Fiat 500 Sport
I can’t find the engine code
Is there anyone out there who used the tool(s) and got it off Amazon and has the numbers

I've moved this to the 500 (USA) section, since the US engines are different to the European ones, and leaving it in the European section could result in a misleading response.

Hopefully someone with specific knowledge of the North American 500 will be along soon to answer your question.

The easiest way in the UK is to look on the V5 document. I hope the USA is the same

Otherwise you have to take the exhaust heat shield and it should be laser etched on the left side just above the manifold
