Hi all, newbie here, I purchased a second hand Ducato 2.3 Multijet 120 57 plate with 169k on it, private seller, drove fine when I test drove it and was fine driving home from Blyth about 80 miles, I have made about 4 trips to town about 8 miles away and drove fine there, but in town it started cutting out a few times, I thought I just stalled it as its quite nippy when pulling away in first gear, after it stalled, It started first time and was fine but engine management came on, so I went for lunch and after about 20-30 mins engine light went off, thought nothing of it, but today it cut out about 8-9 times while trying to get home, always after driving up to a junction or roundabout and when I go to pull off it stalls, but starts fine after stall and drives fine when not slowing down for junctions etc, always when I go to pull off the revs just drop and it stalls.
So took it to my local garage (not fiat) and they put on diagnostic machine and it cam up with the following codes:
P0089 - Fuel Pressure (high pressure pump input regulator)
P0091 - Fuel Pressure (high pressure pump input regulator)
have seen these codes on another thread but had Low pressure next to it, can anyone shed any light on this before I shell out a fortune on stuff that isn't the problem, much appreciated.
