I got heavy duty rubber mats which you trim to size. They are black so don't really stand out & do a great job of protectong the carpets. They are easy to clean to.

They're the black versions of the red ones pictured somewhere above. They seem pretty good too - well bound edges, grippy backing, iron-on 500 logo and non-smelly (unlike the rubber ones)!

Here's my 500 By Diesel that I collected last Friday fitted with the aforementioned official black on black embroidered mats (you can just make out the 500 embroidered at the bottom of the photo). It was those, rubber ones or carpet mats with increasing levels of beige.
Shame they didn't do special edition mats in dark blue with yellow stitching or similar.
I'm thinking of adding some Momo T200 floor grids, aluminium to match the dash finish with yellow lettering. Had some in my old Mini and they reduced the wear on the mats no end.

Now I've held the laptop screen up to my face I realise that where the sunlight hits the mat I can just see the Italian flag tag! Very subtle!

I guess the colour will be down to personal taste but if that is an actual picture of the mats then I would be dubious as to whether they will fit properly.

Is it me or do they look mucky already in that picture?
White with dark stripes - I reckon they'd match you car pretty well
And get rid of his "Disaster Area" branded mats!
