Technical big problem

i have a problem whit a stilo 1.8 16V.my engine is shaking and if i accelerate and after that i realese de pedal my engine is stoped.you can help me?i can't understand what i must doing to repair the car.the examiner do not show me any problem whit the engine.thanks:bang:

mabye the variator on the camshaft, not looked into these too much as i dont have one on my 1.6 but i hear they can wear quite badly

shaking: variator, coils, ground, injectors
cutting out is really scary but easy to fix: clean your intake flap and maf sensor (there is a guide + i've explained how a few times specifically for 1.8 as the guide is for 1.6 - use search). Nice to see another 1.8 owner welcome
