Hi,

I have a Fiat Stilo (2002) 1.6 petrol 16v.

My central locking is not working when pressing the buttons on the key. I tried replacing the battery with a new one, the little light flashes on the key, but the car won't respond. I was thinking maybe one of the fuses is blown?

Does anybody know what might be the problem? or I should just look for the faulty fuse. Problem is I don't know which one is it so i uploaded a picture of my fuse box.

Thanks.

Do you have spare remote to try, if not and all remote doors fail car may have lost stored remote code which has occurred to others and requires relearning remote fob code to car , can be done with multiscan software and correct elm cable or done by fiat dealer, both options require purchase of 5 digit electronic code,..that I know location of remote fuse I do not.

Thanks guys, I will try doing both things, I just have to buy yet a cable to connect the car to my laptop, to scan it.

I will try disconnecting the battery, might help.

Hi There

How are you getting on with this, you can download multiecuscan software then you have to register it then get the leads then you have to get the keycode from a fiat dealer if you have,nt already got it

Looks like your not to far away from me do you want me to have a look at it for you as i have all the gear here to do this, but you will still need the code. I had the same problem with mine and i sorted it would be a good idea to get yourself a little test lamp to check all the fuses the handbook says its fuse no 36 but on mine it was,nt so its best to check them all mine was fuse 32 causing the problem

Pete..
