Hi my son drives a 2004 Uno Mia 1100.

He has a problem that the car cuts out and then doesn't want to start again. There is no specific time it happens. He will drive for a few weeks without problems and then just suddenly one day it will cut out. It cuts out at anytime, doesn't matter if car is hot or cold.

First fuel pump was replaced ....no luck.

Then I replaced the coil .....no luck

We took the car to a garage and they said that they replaced the module on the distributor and it will be fine now. Now after 2 weeks in the middle of the night while he was driving it cuts out again and refused to start. Had to tow it back home. I still doubt that they replaced the module.

What else can be the problem ?

I'm so frustrated and would appreciated any help !

Thank you

If the car has a SPI fuel injection , the chances are hight
that tie butterfly valve sensor is worn.
That gives the ECU unlogical signals .
Try to find a working unit in replacement.
