Well firstly before you try anything else, get rid of the back to black. You will need a silicone remover solution (and lots of it too  ).

How much of the trim do you have left? You can glue it down the amount you naffed up already (but remember to remove silicone off that too...) with some impact adhesive no problems (there is a better glue to use but that escapes me at the mo). The untouched trim should be fine to stick as normal.

if i was you i'd get the strip off a uno turbo and put it on or just get a uno turbo bumper. i had a new rear bumper from fiat and just took the strip off the old bumper, drilled little holes in the new bumper and just pushed it on :D jobs a goodun!!

Hey Dunk,

 Might this have something to do with the absence of an orange stripe form my rear bumper I acquired off Sam?

You said you saw his doors.

 It looks like you got a red front trim– and in your flame throwing vid thread the back looks orange . – I could be wrong lol oh and https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2166&sort=8&cat=500&page=1

Anyone got a spear authentic orange rear bumper trim?

Cool vid!!! Nice MK1 hatch - I'd missed lol.

Regards All,

wire cut) lol.

Regards All,

Well, i did try to paint the stripe but that did'nt work out well. So, this time i will go for vinyl (same as the graphics on the hood on my car). The benefits of vinyl is that it's easy to stretch and is easy to attach. Hopefully i will try this in the weekend.

I put red strips on my bumper about errrm 2 years ago and they're still looking good and in tact. (look at the pics in my gallery)

What I did was buy some of the red rubber strip with the peel away backing and fit it into the recess in the bumper.

it's a little bit deep for the adhesive to get a hold. I put silicone into the recess to fill it out a bit, let it set a little and push the red strip in...

TADAAAAAAH! UNO TURBO BUMPER!!!

Did this to front and rear.

I have an uno turbo bumper for sale if anyone wants it... it's brand new with foglight holes, never been fitted

Doesn't have the red strip in but you could do that yourself if you wanted.

Well, finally my strip is on. I used the same material as the grahpic on the hood. It worked out perfectly!!! :D

See my gallery for pics.
