Anyone had any experience in removing/replacing the rear seatbelt clips?

I appear to have broken one of mine carrying heavy loads with the seats down, and my MOT is approaching fast... from inside the car it seems as if there's no access, the bolt is rounded on the top so no unscrewing to be done there. I've not taken a look underneath yet, but am I to assume that that's where the access would be? Or is there something about this mysterious black shiny bolt thing that I can remove from within the cabin?

Haynes has nothing on it, which surprised me a little... also nothing in the Porter manual.

If the bolt is rounded and wont budge, maybe a larger torx head socket can be tapped in and might remove, if not you could grind the head off and use molegrips to remove the threaded bolt thats left, sort a pic just to see exactly whats wrong as they are not hard to replace! Ant!

Aha, well since you've suggested it I might give it a go Chas, yes it's a round (nearly hemi-spherical) cover on the top -- not a rounded off bolt (but thanks anyway Ant) -- but it's solid metal. I didn't want to try prizing it off since I hadn't seen any reference to it just being removable anywhere... I'm always a tad worried about breaking things on my wee uno :)

I'll investigate today...
