Hi there!!
I have been using the forum for advice and ideas for a few months so i throught it was about time to join up and show you my car!

Its a 1 liter  but due to me being 17 insurance on a turbo is "intresting" lol, but i bassicly added all the exterior parts from a turbo to it and the only real mods on the outside are colour coding and flushed tailgate and grill.

Inside is where i went a bit crazy i know some of you wont like it :) but every single modification on the car both inside and out i did myself.

I dont really want to go into great detail as i do want to get to bed later and not be here typing lol but the basic jist is as follows:
Moulded speaker build in dash
Custom door cards using alfa 156 handels, elecy window switches
Alfa GTV seats
Wall built behind seats with 2 15"s
amp rack in boot molded around original plastics for perfect fit
5 amps
3500rms
Built for SQL
Anything else ask away :)
Adam

Welcome:slayer:

That is one mental install!!! (y)

I’ve not seen one like that before in an Uno. Like the Turbo Replica, but all that weight?? Must be good for crewsing. one day you'll sort out the bay:devil: You can’t tell me you have that lot cranked up to the max and sit in the car LOL. Must be way above the threshold of pain (Owwwwwwwwwww!)

What tunes do you pump out fella?

Hay am I mistaken or is that a non locking petrol cap? Of so your brave!!!

Nice finish overall.

Looks nice mate, love the outside, personally not a fan of the interior, dont get me wrong you've done a top job, the work looks really good mate (y) just not my thing but whatever floats your boat hey! As for the insurance surely the amount of I.C.E in your car will rocket your insurance up sky high anyway?? Stick a turbo lump in there mate you know you want to lol Surely all that ice is slowing down that 1 litre hair dryer engine in there even more :p

 F R O $ T Y

That is why i did it!! Lots of people do installs with puntos n stuff but not unos :)
Errm yes the weight  ermm 1.1 tonnes

Its rather slow tbh but i have been looking at a new1.4 fire engine i read these will go in but is it alot of work ecu's n what not?

Oh yes i do occasionally have a lil "play" with the volume, got threated to have my car impounded from the nice inforcment officers the other week

And as for the tunes a bit of everythink really...queen :slayer: lol

Firstly - wow

Top marks for the custom door cards/handles! They look very nice in there, better than FIAT have ever done. I've never seen anyone attempt such a project, let alone carry it out with the consistent quality/materials that you have.

I have my concerns about the sound 'imaging'
Having those four speakers firing straight at the passenger - I guess it must be quite lonely for you in your car, just you and your speakers, eh... mind you I shouldn't really call the kettle black since I have no girlfriend to sit in mine ;)

Looks like a 'solid' install in the back - just how many sub drivers are there and what sizes?

I wonder how the FIRE engine alternator copes with hundreds of amps current draw...

Anyway, stick around, looks like your Uno is the ultimate authority on ICE - and the outside looks clean too (as Serin said) (y)

Mate that is fuking well cool!

Its the 1st ive ever seen an Uno like that! lol

Most people on here (And Turbo Collective) know im an absolute engine purist but that looks like its been a while in making with the door cards and that?

I can appreciate that because im helping my mate do his Peugeot 206 interior, filling and smoothing over the dashboard "dip" on the passenger side above the glovebox and its a right coont! lol

looks good on the outside too!
Unos look the best in black IMO! (y)

Hi there!
I have read many of your posts you know your stuff!!! lol
You have brought up some very good points:
sound imaging - in the dash the only two speakers are working this is to avoid messing up the sound stage the speaker nearest the driver is left channel and the second speaker in from the pass side is right channel admittedly this is not ideal but it still surprisingly sounds good!

Subs - There are two :p both 15" Vibe Spaces Duel VC (Voice Coil) 1000W Rms both Wired in parallel to see 1ohm to the amp.

Amp - This will be replaced with as SPL Dynamics EXT-2000D 2000W Rms at 1ohm (Underrated)

Engine - hmm i am currently on my Third alt :bang: i am getting a custom one made which will be 100A once i have upgraded to a 1.4 engine. I am also on my 2nd head gasket in 3 months due to the excessive weight and then obviusly the engine is under full load all the time :(

Yes i have changed the Air Fillter i used a volvo intake (The bit that mounts to the Injector unit) and from there (the wobbley pipe) i used a curved section of a Alfa 156 2.0 :yum:

Why im here

ANYONE WITH A Mk2 70ie UNO CONTACT ME ASAP DON'T MATTER IF IT HAS NO T&T
