Hello all,
I recently had an accident with my 1996 Fiat Ulysse which caused the engine suspension screws to tear out of their threads which seem to be right into the gearbox. Now it seems to me that the gearbox exists out of two parts, and that the engine suspension screws are in the outer (smaller) part, which I suppose is the fifth gear bits. My question now is: does Fiat sell this part seperately, or is the gearbox only sold as a complete set? It's just plain nuts that I should buy a complete new gearbox (expensive) just because those screws are torn out.
Here you can have a closer look at the problem:
It's the 2.0i engine from 1996.
Any thoughts?
