Ok, so changing brakes should be easy yes? So why am i at the point of hitting my car with a BIG hammer?

Im changing the front to rear pipes but at the rear they are all stuck fast.
At the block thing (possibly a brake bias??) both sides and were it joins the flexi hose.

I dare not try any harder in case i round them off too much.
Also the other end of the flexi hoses are the same so if i cant get the conections off im going to have to go all the way back to the drums. (n)

Does anyone have any magic tricks for this as im at my wits end? :bang:

Yes but surely brake pipes are brake pipes?
Does it matter what car they are on?

ok,three ways to do this.first use penetrating oil and leave overnight to soak.then with a good fitting spanner, move the nut back and forth until it undoes.second way,is to heat it up until very hot, this will allow the two metals to expand which should allow to undo.third method and pretty desperate[rounded nuts],is to use mole grips.i always use a proper brake spanner.this grips on the flats and does not round the nut.sometimes ,penetrating oilis needed if rusted up[you get a chemical action sometimes between diff metals.on the bias pipe, this should not be a problem.

Have dowsed in wd40 so hopefully when i have a go tomorrow i can get them off.

If not i might tow it to a garage and cry for mercy.!!

Yep another job I've done on mine. With the position of the Brake Bias valve its a right swine, especially with the fuel tank and anti-roll bar being in the way. There might be a connection on the front-rear brake pipes about 3/4 along the car where you might be able to disconnect.

If not its pliers and new pipe time :)

WD40 not good enough.use proper penetrating oil,and heat it up afterwards, this should allow to be undone.use a brake spanner if possible.they are cheap enough fro halfords.

if you can explam to me what is lambda sansor and athe coil pack if you have some pictures thank .
if that is the problem you are for me a hero a i will put a picture of you on my wall.

Dave.
Wd40 Is A Penetrating Oil,but It Evaporates Over A Short Time Due The The Impellant In It.penetrating Oil Out Of An Oil Can Does Not,so It Soaks In Over Several Hours Increasing Its Abilities.have Been In The Motor Trade Over 25 Yrs.experiance Has Found Which One Works Best.

they are all more a less similar.but it must be oil based, comes out of a small oil can.i have used comma,3-in-1[my favourite],and wynns[also good].
