Hi all,
Lets see if i get any response here.
I have this 2015 fiat 500x with a ZF 9HP48 9 speed auto 2.0 diesel which has a few issues i believe are valve body related - happy to hear your thoughts.
When downshifting from 8th to 7th and 5th to 4th the engine increases rpms by about 300 or so effectively launching the car, not so much from 8th to 7th but really noticable from 5th to 4th. Reading online it seems that the transmission signals the engine to increase the rpm in order to match and engage/disengage the A and F dog clutches for 5-4, 8-7 and vice versa shifts. Problem is it is actually launching the car and dangerous.
It also kicks when braking near the stopping speed.
