Superchips quoted me an extra 8bhp at the wheels, but this was after tailoring the map to my mods and 2 or 3 power runs on the dyno. Feels like they weren't lying either. A generic chip may not offer as much.

As I understand it, this chip holds your immobiliser code, so unless the chips are specifically for your ecu then they may not even work.

The thing with going to Superchips or BBR (BBR offer clubcento members a discount) is that they have insurance - if they bugger it all up they will sort it out. Particularly poignant pondering previous posts... no offence intended.
