Just wondering what everyone's best holiday has been up until now.

I ask, as I'm planning what will no doubt be one of mine. Me, my mate and his wee sis are planning on heading to Japan for 3 weeks in 2012.

Saving starts now, already got a few plans for things to do/see while there. Cannot wait!

Sounds nice.
Best Holiday......... errrr Orlando-Florida 1996.
Went on Holiday back in 1996 to Orlando- Florida with:
Mum, Sister, Nan & Grandad (Now deceaced) for 2 weeks, styed in a place called Kissimmee.
Went in October, so while it was freezing in England, it was about 25degrees over there, think it went up to 32dgrees the day we went to Seaworld, also visted:
Disney quite a lot, I was only 10 back then.
MGM, which is part of Disney
Universal Studios..... mmmm not so good memories from that day.....
Kennedy Space Centre aka NASA, don't rember much apart from a Bus tour round the centre, and seeing the Shuttle Transporter F*****g massive machine, that takes a whole day to get a fully loaded shuttle to it's launch pad at 1MPH or 2MPH when it's unloaded.

I don't really tend to go on holidays due to never having cash to fund them. Parents were in the same boat so Butlins in Ayr was where we'd always used to go year in year out even though my Dad always swore we'd never go back

I've got fond memories of playing Chase HQ at 20p a pop and going on all the various fair ground rides for free. Then of course there were the off duty red coat ladies, but then I wasn't really the correct age to appreciate that side of it, much

In all honesty, my most relaxed time off from work etc was probably T in the Park '05. I'd left the soon to be ex to fend for herself and spent the weekend with mates or wandering around the place like some sort of wandering bloke just taking it all in. The beer tasted like tea by the second day due to the heat and the Punto popped a radiator hose on the way out of the carpark on the Sunday but apart from that, it was sheer bliss all weekend

My ideal holiday if I can ever fund it is a trip over to Europe to take in the Ring and Spa. I know the costs but the job won't allow it, which kinda sucks :(

Singapore when I was 9. Dad was working with Motorola at the time and was sent to sort out the mess the Singapore division got themselves into. He was there for 6 months but Motorola paid everything for my Mum and I to fly out for two weeks :) - bit of a boast I know sorry :)

Shame hes' not working there now, sneak a trip to the F1 :p

And Martyn...does that mean you're going JDM ? :p

Erm i find it hard to pick a good holiday, we went to portugal for 5 years when me and my sister were younger, so many good memories of playing in the sand etc etc etc. however now im older i appreciate holidays much more. so we went to sicily two years ago and it was amazing to just relax. been to St. Lucia aswell which was a memorable one

Disney is a thing u have to do before u die i guess.

Best had to be our honeymoon to the Maldives, amazing place what there is of each island. We were (un)lucky enough to have been put on tsunami alert so sitting getting seshed in the bar with life jackets on ready to get on the roof is very memorable. Also the three course curry option for breakfast that would burn yer taste buds off lol

Second best would be a road trip to south Germany in a MR2 Turbo, 2 downsides were the turbo was limited to 150mph iirc and A-class Merc's were passing it on autobahn, other was the ring was shut the day we pitched up

With a partner, a 4 day stint in France. Romantic, lots to see etc (although where we stayed there was a gathering of dodgy looking black guys as soon as it got dark)

With the lads, a week long road trip through Europe in the old Alfa :D the highlight being pulled over in France by the police with their hands on their guns :| lol

New Orleans for Christmas last year, been to the states a few time but the big easy blows the other cities out of the water.
