Hi everyone, just been fortunate (or completely insane) to buy an 06 registered fat croma 1.9 diesel multijet. Early days yet as I've only had it 2 weeks but so far it seems to be a good buy. Will post updates on fuel economy and performance when I've had it a while longer. Any one else had any experience of them?

Hello and welcome to here (y) the croma is one of fiats best kept secrets ..they need to advertise the car more :)

Hi Welcome

I have a manual 1.9 multijet 16V Eleganza. Performance seems pretty good, though I haven't tested it properly. I've found fuel economy a little disappointing 30 mpg round town, 44-46 on a run about 38-40 overall, not quite what I expected for a manual car & quite a bit less than the official figures. I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

But it's very comfy, roomy & smooth so kids happy!

Getting about the same economy, comfortable and roomy, nice car

We picked up a 55 Croma yesterday a 1.9 diesel multijet so I'll let you know how we get on.... but on first impressions I absolutely love the driving position......

Well, never thought I'd say this but the Croma is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever owned, for a diesel it has loads of power and the engine is quiet compared to most diesels. Fairly good fuel economy averaging 47 mpg.
I've still got motorists driving up my tail end to see what it is, quite a rarity in the north east. Hope you have many miles of trouble free motoring.
