Hi All.
My first post from a keen DIY-er and looking for a spot of advice..
(like you do)
I'm changing the clutch on my trusty panda 169 1.2 and ran into a bit of confusion that i hope some experts can help with..?

I'm trying to remove the right side drive shaft from the transmission housing (left was removed with no issue at all).
According to the haynes manual i just disconnect the intermediate shaft, which is fine - except there isn't one...!
I have seen a you tube vid where some chap simply climbs under the car with a cold chisel and places it between the collar and the housing..
A few taps and .. hey presto, it's extracted..
Is it literally as simple as that, or is there some other method for extracting the driveshaft from the transmission?

Many thanks for your shared wisdom - i'm humbly grateful..

Well, I thought i'd better post back and confirm that a couple of committed taps with a chisel does indeed detach the drive shaft from the transmission.!
There is a groove on the edge of the driveshaft "cup" so i used that as a focal point for the chisel..

Onto the clutch..!
