Wow, is it just me or are there 4 different rims on there. You're totally in the market for a bargain set of 3 rims that are no use to anyone else now!!

Interesting times ahead, having seen your other one (back when all the bits were all attached to each other) I'm sure this'll be great. Good luck.![]()
It's awesome! And that intercooler is the size of a planet. Whats it off, a Mack Truck?![]()
I'm sure I remember pictures of this car been on the net years ago. Was all of it gold/brown at one stage.
Lovely! Like the wheels and the rear bumper VmanC - do gertie's like that please![]()
I am keen to get a rose-joint set up on mine as well, and there are plenty of weight saving techniques I can see in your pictures :slayer:
The weight saving holes cut in the hub carriers are an eye opener.
How come the bonnet has to have a hole cut out for the intake manifold? Is it not the same basic fitment as the GTie?...Or are there modified throttle bodies or something? Or or....lol..is it for cooling/ looking cool (which it does)? Mine gets way too hot

From memory, the engine was mounted slightly higher than standard because the rest of the car became soooooo low that the sump would hit the ground. So when the bonnet was put back on there was no clearance and the simplest solution was to cut a hole in the bonnet.
I will try to get a bit more clarity on everything that has been modified when I start to take it apart. At least I have another y10 to compare it to.
