Xbox 360 Elite £199

right, i've sort of talking myself into getting an xbox, was at my mates last night and it was a good laugh.

£199 at GAME for an Elite with the new Forza and COD, sound ok?

there's some used Elites going for £180.

also wondered how the sky works on xbox, as i was going to get it set up in my room anyway, is it just like sky player or are there proper real time channels, can't even see how much it costs anywhere :bang:

I looked at sky player for the first time last night.

It seems as long as you have a sky player account then you just log in to it on the xbox and use that instead of a PC

yeahh just read that, was hoping it would be a bit like proper sky, still very good though!

Very good deal if you ask me

considering you can sell them games on for about £60 if need be so you would be getting the console for £140

Also he didn't define what he meant by games.....they could well have been the "entertainment pack" which was a free controller, Kungfu Panda and Lego Batman IIRC.

well i got my first xbox for a tenner brand new and sold it for £100, beat that haha

I brought a year subscription when I got paid, cheaper in the long run. I havent heard about them changing the free months trial or not though.
Nice bargain you got there though

I love my Elite. I got mine from Zavvi before it closed for £149. Urgh I regret lugging that round birmingham with me, I had blisters on my hands for weeks! lol.

Er as far as im aware any new gamertag registered on xbox live gets a free month, but you can't use the same email account if you've had a previous live tag so may would have to setup a new email account to qualify.

Also happen to know Game has the special edition Forza and COD 12 months subscriptions in....the special thing being you get 13 months instead and a free dash theme if you buy the Forza one.

right, i'm looking at these right now..

so far best i found is 250Gb Elite Including Forza Motorsport 3, 1 360 headset, 2 wireless controllers, Xbox LIVE Silver Membership and one-month subscription to Xbox LIVE Gold for £229.95 delivered. I think this is a good deal but not sure if i am right. Seen them cheaper but with 2 controllers and the rest seems like a deal.. Someone tell me is ok to press buy.
