Hello,I need help on how to proceed when changing the front lights,I changed from classic to lights with LED daytime running lights, but they start flashing after starting
I can connect to the ECU with MES,I read that something needs to be changed in the proxy, but I don't know how to proceed
Thank you

Ive not done this myself but think the best approach would be to backup the proxi file which should still work with the original configeration if you were to refit. Then run the new proxi alignment.

thank you, I tried this procedure twice and without success, the only thing I read is that you need to change 2 bytes in the proxy, but I don't know how

If you use the same procedure as backing up the proxi file ie use a text editor like notepad or notepad++ then change as per your instructions.

So,I have successfully connected the lights, in the proxy you need to change the bytes at position 76 to A8 and the bytes at position 134 to A0,if anyone has a similar problem after changing the lights to lights with LED daytime running lights
Thank you🙂💪🫶

Hello Dodes, nice to know you've managed to change the standard DRL to headlights with DRL in LED. I want to do the same thing and have bought new Ducato headlight with DRL in LEDto change with my excisting headlights with the DRL in halogen. I've the multicuscan software, what do you mean with c to change bytes at pos. 76 to A8 and 134 to A0 ? Where can I find these bytes ?

Hi,you have to get into the proxy settings and at positions 76 and 134 you have to overwrite the values
That's all🙂
@Dodes23 any solution for full led headlights? I have bulb error on the dash, coding bytes 76 and 134 doesnt work in my case.

Use the search function, there was at least one thread when someone put the x290 lights to the x250 and also someone from France that retrofitted full LED lights to his x290.

There were very useful information in both threads.
I've been digging through the internet for a few days now, and aside from people mentioning adding resistors, I haven’t found any solid or detailed answers

+ the one regarding the x250:

@the green vanper, you're posting random links that add nothing to the discussion.

Anyway, the issue is now resolved. For future reference: in AlfaOBD, I've disabled sidemarker diagnostics — now no errors, everything works as it should.
