My 15 month old Euro 6 X290
Has had radio reception issues since day 1
Complained at 2 services, told it’s been checked.
Well it never was
DAB originally dropped out all the time, worse than any other DAB systems I’ve used in 10 years.
Installed a kinetics dab powered and amplified aerial, was better but still bad
And a few weeks back DAB stopped working!
With the help of a gent in this group, we sussed our my firmware was 06.......... when in fact current firmware is 12...........
So I went in today for a 2nd attempt at getting them to sort it,
Low and behold, 45 mins later, my firmware is up to date,
And DAB works again
Can’t check yet on reception as only driven a few miles,
But I would make sure you get yours updated at the dealership to avoid losing DAB radio
