Hello,
After installing lesjofors heavy duty springs for motor homes that lifted the van about 50-60mm, I get a big thumping noise when hiting some sharped edged potholes. The van actually handles and absorbes bumps beautifully without any noises whatsoever even off-road and gravel. My mechanic claimed that it might need longer front shocks but I’m having doubts and trouble finding any. The springs were recomended on this forum some time ago, it’s clear for me that other people didn’t have this problem.
So, what do you guys think, should I get new shocks? Do you know of any heavy duty / longer shocks ?
The van is a 2014 DUCATO Maxi self converted campervan.
I don’t know the state of the actual shocks, as it was bought second hand a year ago. My mechanic claims that they had no leaks or anything.
Thanks in advance and I hope my English isn’t too bad.
