Thanks to this forum, I now know where the horn is - behind the o/s bumper.

I'm looking to replace the horn (don't we all) but without wanting to remove the bumper on my own, can the wires be simply accessed by removing the headlight or removing the o/s wheel arch cover? Don't want to remove the horn, just need access to the wiring as I can relocate the new horn elsewhere.

Depends which X2/50 you have got (some engines take up more room than others) and how thin and flexible your arm and fingers are.
Without dismantling you won't see anything , but it may be possible to feel under the box section for the horn, and pull the plug off.
