Technical x reg 1.9 td gear problem

hi all i have an x reg ulysse in dec 09 it had a new clutch and a repair on 2nd gear (i didnt own the car then i just have a invoice with the car saying this work was done) i was driving the over day and i it was hard 2 get in 2nd gear also its griding abit when u go in 3rd gear when driving but when the engine is not running i cant get it in 2nd gear but will go in all other gears. what can this be

Obviously a gearbox fault I'm afraid.
