Would you buy a Qubo if the nearest Fiat dealer was 120 miles away?

Obviously nowadays any garage can do the servicing without your warranty being cancelled but only the Fiat garage can do warranty repairs. That means a 240 mile round trip to get them to look at it before they order the parts for you to do another 240 mile round trip for the new parts to be fitted :bang: and no, they do not have any approved service centres either

Come on Fiat, there would be more Fiats up here if you had one of the local garages doing warranty work :idea:

Depends if you are the kind of person that will take the car back for every little niggle. I think you are within your rights to as you are spending plenty of money, but for rattles etc... most people can fix them as easily as the dealer can.

I think the service intervals are 20000miles???? depending on the mileage you are doing this might only be 1 or 2 trips in total during the warranty period. Remembering that the 3rd year warranty generally isnt worth the paper it is written on.

Faced with that kind of trip, I'd consider buying the Peugeot or Citroen version, assuming that they had dealers a lot closer.
I'd consider it, then still go for the Fiat version.

Hopefully, nothing will go wrong with it. Cars are very reliable these days. My Qubo is the 7th new car that I've had in the last 20 years. Of the previous 6 (all company cars), only one has needed warranty work.
