the side indicators, i know i sounds like a stupid question, but i've been looking at some foreigne modified bravo's and alot of them dont have side indicators as they've been removed and smoothed.
if it would fail, if you just had a series of LED's as your indicators, would it still pass its MOT?

This was mentioned in the past, and it may depend on the tester. I think the rule is that flashing from an indicator (any) must be visible stood at the side of the car, and the Bravo's front (headlight) indicators fit this criteria. Best bet is to take it to a test centre and ask them.

From what I was told.. if it has them fitted... they must work.

My landrover had a new wing fitted and we hadn't put the Off Side wing indicator on.. or made the hole for it... and the tester said.. if it's not there.. it can't fail.. if it was there and not working.. it would fail.

If the wings have been smoothed, so all signs there never was one.. how would the tester know there should be one.....

Took my car for an MOT and the tester asks... What Is It????

Tommy K - Have you got the Bottle!!

best bet would be to have indicators built into the wing mirrors or such like. I think its something stupid like take 5 steps back from the back of the car and look towards the front, if you can see them u will pass.

rite thanks guys, i think my best bet would to just go to an MOT station and ask them, also i am going to get my door handles removed and flushed, the same with the door strips, and get my sideskirts blended in, so do you think it would look better with or without indicators?
cheers 4 the input

chap, you could always do as I have done and colourcode them?

best to start with clear ones for the best effect tho!

that looks nice m8, i have the same colour car too, but i was just after doing something that not many ppl have done before, what would be a reasonable quote for having all that work done?
not taking into consideration the price for the door poppers and alarm etc

as much as they want to charge you chap, there will be no set price. always remember to shop around for the best quote and see some of their previous work where you can before you decide who to go with.
