Hello all, I'm a worried person right now.
My Fiat Bravo's speedo dropped out around a month ago. I took it to a garage in my local area and the guy there agreed to fix it. Charged me £120 in total - he got me a new speedo (charged me £50 for that) and the rest was labour costs.
Was glad to pick the car up on the 5th Jan with a fully functional speedo!
Anyway, tonight on my way home from work (you guessed it) the speedo has dropped out again. It's not even intermittant, it's full on stopped working.
I'm worried that when I take my car back to the garage tomorrow he will start to charge me for labour and more parts. Is this fair? I could barely afford it the first time he 'fixed' it - can he slap on more labour fee's now that it's not working again?
Please let me know where I stand in this situation because I don't know how I will stand up to him if he starts charging me more money.
Thanks!
