Wiring problems

hi guys! ive run into more problems with engine transplant! ive put a coupe 16v turbo im my bravo! but i only used the engine side of the loom (coupe). ive managed to wire the fuel pump up, but i havnt got any spark! does the ecu put power to the ht leads? because i kno on the bravo side theres a seperate wire from the ignition side of things! any help would be very helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oooo so this is the fate of good old Paul R's bravo

well, if its no spark, then u might have issues with the ECU not recognising the Immobilizer or simular.

when doing a conversion like this (dont hold me to this) but i assume u have to change the ignition barral off the coupe and immobilizer. meaning u might have to the some of the wiring loom.


what did u change along side the engine??

Its a 1.4 Chassis, 1.6 Engine and 2.0ltr Brakes and half a Marea

ive changed the immob unit, ecu, key, barrel, wiring loom, and engine and box! and whoz this paul guy id like 2 talk 2 him! lol i dnt even kno the paint code!!!! and theres some body work cracking!

paul r was the original creator of the car i believe, dave (speedie then owner her)

and asfore the wiring loom. u mentioned u only used the engine side?

the connector that connects the engine loom to the car electric loom, is that the same, meaning have loom at the pins, see if the all line up, have the right amount of pins, same wires/colour wires...look at the little details liek that!

hi nice to see that your dropping a turbo in it rather than selling it im dave i owned the car after paul for a year and a half. i had planned to turbo it but never ever got round to organising it
