I want to wire an LED into my fascia adapter cubby hole and was wondering could anyone tell me the simplest and best way to do this?

I was thinking of piggy-backing off the ISO on the back of the Kenwood head unit but that works without ignition being on, so would that mean LED stays on all the time, and i dont want to invalidate any warranties on it.

Run it from the amplifier switching wire of your head unit - that way it's on whenever the stereo's on :)

If you've got a multimeter, then measure DC volts between Ground/chassis on the car and the wires till you find the right one, dunno which it is. but someone with the info CD might be able to tell you. remember to add the right value of resister to the LED, there's a calculator here http://linear1.org/ckts/led.php, oh and remember to at least tape up your exposed solder joints and LED legs Just incase (if you can get a hold of heatshrink then even better)
